Entering 2014 with distorted guitars, hard hitting drums, and some serious swagger, Clear Plastic Masks have released their long awaited début album “Being There”. Jump-started in New York in 2011 the band members originate from Nashville, TN and since then have gone on a nostalgia rock trip around the USA. Taking influences from blues and good olé fashioned rock and roll, this band create a look back at how music was made back when all you needed was a song in your heart and a guitar in your hand.

Their music has a refreshing honesty, that is usually only found in the lonesome singer songwriter playing at the end of a bar. And after releasing a number of EPs under their own steam it has been a well deserved jump into the life of a signed band. In late 2013 Nashville record label Serpents and Snakes got their hands on them and their push to the big time has begun.

“Being There” is the first global release by Clear Plastic Masks and is a fantastic mixture of fan favourites like “Baby Come In” and “So Real” and new previously unheard songs “In Case You Forgot” and “Outcast”. If you love the sounds of The Black Keys, J Roddy Walston & The Business and Hanni El Khatib you are sure to find this band ticking the boxes.
