1. Vampires that explode upon contact with sunlight, as they should. Because we all know they sure as hell don’t sparkle in the sun.
2. Casting the dream team. The two leads were amazing together.
3. No cheap horror shots. Just…. haunting
4. Keeping it real. The film doesn’t shy away or sugar coat real life issues, even as the genre crosses into the fantastical.
