Featured Fashionista of the week: Brighton-based jewellery designer Claire Montgomery is going down a storm in high profile fashion circles.
Recently the Brighton designer has launched her ‘Carousel Collection’ which has debuted at High Street London Fashion Week – not just that but she’s also managed to get high profile stars snapped in her designs (Charlotte Church featured in the Daily Mail wearing Claire’s dainty bird earrings) who have been making headline news recently.
Claire specialises in laser cut jewellery, hand-crafted collage illustrations, custom necklaces, badges and can design personalised commissions – perfect for birthdays or other special events. Animal lovers out there can get their very own pet designed in earring or necklace form. The cat and dog earrings are a real hit in our office….
Her Carousel collection in inspired by her seaside surroundings. Pastel shades are reminiscent of holidays by the seaside. Ice cream earrings and doughnut necklaces put the fun back into jewellery and dressing up and there’s definitely a girly edge to the collection.
For a more grown up range, Montgomery’s funky hen necklaces add an edge of sophistication to an otherwise stereotypically tacky occasion – the ‘L’ plates and the T shirts are thankfully nowhere to be seen…
