You know sometimes you see something which leaves you open mouthed at the actions of your fellow humans? Well the picture below is an illustration of such an occurrence. I found this ‘charming’ piece of art work daubed on a gate in Liverpool, a short walk from my University Campus. Witnessing something such as this ebbs away at the faith I hold in humanity, and it is a sad indictment of the senseless attitude of certain sections of society. I sincerely doubt that a badly scrawled swastika heralds the rise of anti-Semitism in Liverpool, but it does exemplify the perplexing level of ignorance still to be found in the world.
