Caribou is a talented and well established artist within the DJ and mainstream music world. Established in the early 2000s under the name Manitoba (later changed to Caribou), this artist is at the forefront of the changing face of music – his albums are vastly acclaimed and popular amongst the masses.
The Milk Of Human Kindness is his album from 2005 and I find it to be a standard Caribou album – lovely tunes to listen to, with gentle meoldies and strong undercurrents. Exactly the kind of music I…. Have on in the background while I’m revising.
If you like chilled-out electronica, then go for it, but for me, this is the music I have on in the background. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE it under the right circumstances – but otherwise I’d rather listen to something rather more….. Listenable.
