I have to firstly thank my Brother for giving me this album for Christmas it is fantastic from the first track to the last. “Inni” is the first live album for the ever brilliant “Sigur Ros”. The Icelandic post rock quartet have been creating blindingly good music for as long as i can remember and this album shows that is possible if you dare to challenge the status quo.
With beautiful vocals pared with music so velvetly smooth and creative this could well be the greatest live album of all time.
This track “Ny Batteri” stood out for me as well as being loud and anthemic it encpsulates all that is great about Sigur Ros.
With new material set for release at some time next year this album gets you in the mood for more, I just cant wait to see what’s next.
