In a term that has passed in a blizzard, it seems only yesterday that we were moving into our halls and student flats at the beginning of September. Hats off to our amazing bodies for coping with the endless stream of Jaeger bombs, messed up sleeping habits and caffeine fueled deadlines that it has endured thus far. Credit where credit’s due. Freshers’ week, initiations, all-nighters and one-nighters; all of these must seem as alien to our parents as pirate radio and flares seem to us. Christmas is coming and with it a return to normality for a few weeks. Let’s hope Santa’s feeling generous this year to kick-start 2012 with a bang before rolling back to Uni in January for Spring Term.
