Nobody can deny the catchiness of I’m Gonna Be (500) Miles, smash hit from Scottish band The Proclaimers. The band has sang it live at concerts such as the final Live 8 concert, intending for it to represent “The Long Walk to Justice.” Considering that in The Way Back Janusz walked 4000 miles, and then some as he continued around the world waiting for Poland to emerge from Communist hands, we think this song could definitely be the anthem for his trek back to his wife.
While the original version of the song may be a tad too cheery, we think that the following cover by Blake Stratton would fit perfectly with a montage of the group’s expedition.
