So after a long hiatus for some self-improvement, Tune Love is back as Dead Curious Music. We’ve joined forces with our sister site, Glitterazi (the fancy one), to bring you all the wholesome (musical) goodness that you’ve been missing. Following Kanye’s Work Out Plan (and delivering those French baked goods stat), you can see that we have streamlined and consolidated. We’ll have more interviews with your favourite artists, more in-depth access to local acts, and more Dead Curious Exclusives.
To start us off right, I’ve got the Dominican Republic’s UGO with an hour long blend of nudisco and psychodelic house. No doubt inspired as much by the work of a certain robotic duo from France, as it is by the tropical paradise’s burgeoning electronic scene, this set will get you tapping along right away.
UGO is a founding member of the Northern Electronic Kommunity, a collective of like-minded artists producing some of the most exciting music and visual arts in the Western Hemisphere. Check them out here and download the audio file here.
