Pulp Fiction
I watched the movie and fell in love instantly. I wanted to pick up a gun, snort cocaine, read Ezekiel 25:17 and do the twist all at the same time. Every song complimented every scene. From the first scene in the coffee shop/restaurant, where Honey Bunny says, “Any of you fucking pricks move and I’ll execute every mother-fucking last one of you.” Cue music by Misirlou and start credits… IT DOESN’T GET BETTER THAN THAT…this is maybe the best intro ever! I have a great record collection. I knew in order to have an outstanding record collection I would need to own the Pulp Fiction soundtrack. After spending 6 years between Canada and U.S looking for this perfect record I finally found it at Sonic Boom, a record store in Toronto’s Kensington Market. I listened to the record for a good two months straight over and over again. Dancing in my room solo/with friends.
And now ladies and gentleman the best five songs on the album … even though this isn’t fair because every song is amazing.
#1 “Girl You’ll be a Woman soon By: Urge Overkill.
#2 “Jungle Boogie” by: Kool & the Gang.
#3 “Son of a Preacher Man” By: Dusty Spingfield.
#4 “Lets stay Together” By: Al Green. And, last but not least,
#5 “Bullwinkle Pt2” By: The Centurians.
The best part of this soundtrack is the dialogue that is included. I love love the royale with cheese dialogue, because for a moment I feel like I am almost watching the film.
So people don’t be a (I make an outline of square with my fingers that looks like a rectangle) and listen to this soundtrack 🙂
