Dry the River – Weights and Measures

Today sees the release of London folk band ‘Dry the River’s new EP ‘Weights and Measures’. To me the band is very remniscient of Mumford and Sons, Fleet Foxes and Local Natives. I quite like their American sounding gospel/indie style. The track ‘Weights and Measures’ is wonderfully chilled, with backing vocals that sound like a church choir. The harmonies set against an acoustic guitar in this track are really lovely.
